Performances
The special challenge in shooting performances is the lighting.
Of course, using a flash is out of the question. Sometimes there's barely enough light to focus. Low light levels also make it tough to get a sharp shot of moving subjects.
When there is enough light, getting the color right is the big challenge, as theatrical lighting is often a mix of strong, strange colors.
